Ulysses is a necklace that can be set to give a gentle nudge when one stays longer than intended on certain apps – elegant, configurable on the go and AI-free.
The project encompasses a fully functioning prototype and an appearance model. Due to confidentiality matters the electronic prototype documentation is provided on request.
Recurring daily scenario
1. Be at work or on the bus.
2. Open Instagram for a quick break to look something up.
3. Get sidetracked from initially intended task for excess time without notice.
Grasshopper
This parametric Rhino plugin was a brand new territory to me and proved very helpful, albeit with a sizeable learning curve.

Outcome
The project posed multiple challenges at the beginning, but the experience was highly educational and marked a vast improvement in quality of jewellery-like output compared to past projects. Transition from Fusion to Rhino and Grasshopper was one of the key decisions behind the success.
The project has received very positive feedback from lecturers, senior designers and startup founders over the course of multiple graduate shows, as well as private meetings.
